From hell to paradise: the metamorphosis of my historical bicycle

Why this strange post? Who cares about my bike? probably no one!  but I want to give honor to my historical bike after its 22 years of activity. After the robbery of my 2 last bikes I found it in my parents garage. It was there taking dust and rust… the next step for the bike is the dumping ground. I decided its restoration. Probably the cost of this action is equivalent to the one of a new bike, but in term of funny I think it’s a very good investment.

In questo articolo voglio descrivere come ho risolto il problema della distribuzione dei propri artefatti; come ho creato un piccolo repository Maven con un spazio Http servito da accesso Ftp.  La distribuzione dei propri artefatti è un problema che si affronta quando si incomincia a strutturare il proprio progetto in qualcosa di più grande e non si possiede una infrastruttura aziendale o i requisiti per entrare in un progetto OpenSource.

Proxy settings on linux shell

Possiedo un portatile aziendale, e spesso mi trovo a fare operazioni sul mio terminale linux, che hanno bisogno di accessi ad internet. Niente di nuovo, certo! ho, però, il problema della  mia rete aziendale… esiste un proxy con autenticazione che mi controlla. Ciò mi porta ad inserire mille volte la password del proxy (e non sono il tipo da “ricorda password”) perchè non mi piace che la mia macchina metta le credenziali al posto mio. Convert mobile video format with linux

Mi sono spesso ritrovato a convertire un video girato con il mio cellulare in un formato più comune per il PC. Ogni volta la strada è stata diversa, esistono molti modi per convertire questi video. Questa volta, però, voglio tracciare il mio cammino per poi ripeterlo e magari estenderlo ogni volta che scopo qualcosa di nuovo… spero che ti possa essere utile!!

Google annunci, ecco cosa sa di noi!

Grazie al blog http://attivissimo.blogspot.com meglio conosciuto come “il Disinformatico” ho scoperto una pagina molto interessante di google è possibile dove impostare le nostre preferenze su gli annunci che googe ci propone.  Il bello di questa pagina e che vengono fornite le impostazioni di base del sistema proponendo quello che già google ritiene conosce! E’ a tutti gli effetti un test è interessante. Nel mio caso io cerco di essere attento a ciò che guardo e a non lasciare troppe briciole di pane lungo il mio cammino da internatua, nonostante tutto, da utente medio sono stato tanato per quel che sono!
